Amy's Omelette House Somerdale

Amy’s Omelette House in Somerdale Adding Dinner Service This Fall

Amy’s Omelette House in Somerdale is expanding beyond breakfast and lunch.

Starting September 21, the popular Camden County breakfast and lunch spot will begin serving dinner, extending its daily hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. That means customers will soon be able to stop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner seven days a week.

The timing comes just as the back-to-school season gets into full swing, giving local families another casual dinner option during busy weeknights.

Owner Ted Kopsaftis told South Jersey Food Scene that customers have been asking for later hours for some time. Proof that when you kindly ask for something, businesses do listen!

“Ever since we closed early, customers have asked if we were going to open up later,” Kopsaftis said. “With Somerdale having a liquor license, we decided to extend our hours at the Somerdale location.”

Yes, the Somerdale location has a liquor license. You can have a bottled beer with your burger! Or a mimosa or Bloody Mary with your brunch.

Amy’s Omelette House for Dinner

Despite its name and reputation for big breakfasts, Amy’s menu has always gone well beyond omelettes. With the new hours, the restaurant will roll out a full dinner lineup while continuing its all-day approach.

In other words, if you want pancakes for dinner, you can still get them.

The new dinner menu includes chicken, seafood, steak, pork, eggplant, and pasta dishes. Entrées come with warm toasted garlic breadsticks and a choice of two sides, with soup or salad available for an additional charge.

Dinner choices include Chicken Parm, Amy’s Chicken, Bourbon Cajun Chicken, Country Chicken, Eggplant Parm, Fried Shrimp, Shrimp Parm and Fried Cod. There are also heartier options such as Sliced Steak Dinner, Steak & Shrimp Combo, Smokin’ Steak N Shrimp and a Surf N Turf Combo.

Pasta dishes include Amy’s Pasta with grilled chicken and blackened shrimp, Spicy Sausage & Pepper Pasta and Creamy Steak Pasta.

Family-Friendly Dinner Options

Kopsaftis said families will be a big part of the restaurant’s dinner plans.

Amy’s has a large kids menu presented on a placemat with breakfast, lunch and dinner choices, and the restaurant plans to offer kids-eat-free nights after dinner service launches.

Value will also remain part of the equation. Amy’s currently offers lighter-portioned meals starting at $7.99, something Kopsaftis said has been popular with customers. Those options currently include breakfast and lunch dishes, with lighter dinner portions expected to be added in the future.

Amy’s is known for its unique and creative non-alcoholic drinks, too. Elevated juices, iced teas, lemonades, spritzers, ice lattes, hot chocolates, and more.

In Summary!

Amy’s Omelette House is located at 9 S. White Horse Pike in Somerdale. Beginning September 21, the restaurant will be open daily from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.

The expanded hours apply only to Somerdale. The Amy’s Omelette House Cherry Hill location will continue operating from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

FYI – Amy’s has added new items to the menu at both locations. Will have more about that soon. In the meantime, follow them on Instagram for updates.

And YES they are in the Frequent Diner program. Show them your card for 15% off your order! HOW AWESOME!
