Anthony’s Creative Italian Cuisine Celebrates 45 Years

One name always stands out when discussing the South Jersey food scene: Chef Anthony Iannone.

At just 21 years old, Iannone opened his first restaurant in Cherry Hill in 1980. Six years later, he relocated it to Turnersville, where it thrived for several years before returning to Camden County. For the past 25 years, Haddon Heights has been home to his beloved South Jersey Italian restaurant with business partner and Executive Chef John Pilarz.

With an impressive 45-year career in the restaurant business, Anthony’s commitment to serving exceptional Italian cuisine has solidified his reputation in South Jersey and made Anthony’s Creative Italian Cuisine a popular dining destination.

Anthony’s, located in a circa 1930s storefront at 512 Station Avenue in Haddon Heights celebrates its 45-year milestone with exclusive Anniversary Dinners throughout the year.

These special events will begin in February and be held on the last Tuesday of every other month. Each evening will feature two intimate seatings—one at 5:00 PM and another at 7:30 PM—where guests can savor an exquisite five-course meal meant to be a culinary journey through Italy.

Each dinner will spotlight a different Italian region, beginning with Tuscany’s bold, rustic flavors. At $85 per person, the dinners promise an unforgettable dining experience. Click the photos below to scroll through for a preview!
