It was a coincidence that we recently revisited Brunchaholics in Cherry Hill while we were in the neighborhood shopping at the Eagles Pro Shop.

I was among the first to report when Brunchaholics opened in October 2023. I haven’t been back since due to various personal logistical reasons, but I was happy to drop in on Sunday to see what was happening.
The experience was excellent—it was even better than the first time. Not to say it was terrible, most places need the kinks worked out when they first open so I always give places a pass if there are service or food issues. And I always go back long after a place opens to see how things are going. We were delighted with our overall experience, from the service to the food. Extra large portions also turned into leftovers that I had the next day, too. Anyways…
Nothing indicated that the changes would occur very soon within the restaurant. I spoke with owner Aaron Anderson a few months ago about something else. He’s been mum about this new change until just three days ago when it was softly announced on the Instagram page—a mere coincidence that I had visited the Cherry Hill location and did not see the rebranding notice/change on their Instagram.
It wasn’t until I contacted Aaron today to tell him that we had a great experience at Cherry Hill that I got the news about the rebranding…
Brunchaholics Cherry Hill is now officially known as Sunrise Social. New signage will be installed in the next two weeks to reflect that. Glad I was able to get a jump on this story so folks won’t be surprised or wondering what is going on.
Personally, I love the new name, as it fits nicely into the concept. While Brunchaholics certainly did have a certain ring to it, and putting their brunch-centric menu at the forefront, I’m a sucker for an alliterative name. They also want to focus on the social element – as we learned, they offer live entertainment on Sunday mornings, which draws a festive brunch-loving crowd.
Aaron was happy to share the news and the updated menu with me, which looks fantastic. Now I have to plan another return visit soon! And so should you.
Here’s another little tidbit of information that Aaron shared with me. Are you ready?
He’s taking over the former Boston Market at 301 S Main Rd in Vineland to open as Sunrise Social Express! This location will not only have indoor dining (fast-casual style) but also have a drive-through. How cool is that?
He expects renovations to be completed in about two months, with an anticipated opening by the end of April or early May. More details about that as it becomes available.
The Philadelphia location in the Fishtown area is also rebranding.
And he still has plans to offer franchises.
Sunrise Social in Cherry Hill at 1200 Haddonfield Road is open daily 8AM to 4PM.
