Cafe Le Jardin Audubon NJ

Café Le Jardin now open in Audubon

Chef Richard Cusack of June BYOB has opened Café Le Jardin in the former Smoke BBQ space at 34 West Merchant Street in downtown Audubon. Previously, they were going to open it in Collingswood at The Factory.

With the success of June BYOB, which had previously been in Philadelphia, Chef Cusack and his wife Christina wanted to open a more casual, kid-friendly concept. Originally, it was going to be vegetarian, but they thought this location would work better as a regular restaurant. So, this is a spin-off of June BYOB, with some differences.

“We absolutely loved The Factory in Collingswood and were trying really hard to open,” Chef Cusack said. “We were super excited to bring a vegetarian and vegan spot to the area. Our vegan tastings are incredibly popular so we know there is a need/want! Due to circumstances out of our control, we could no longer open in that location.”

The French cafe/brassiere will also offer brunch on the weekends, which is great news for folks in Audubon who love brunch.

Stay tuned for more!
