On Tuesday, April 2nd, Food Network’s Chopped Champion Chef Timothy Witcher will open, The Wing Kitchen and oversee operations The Bar @ Divots (200 Hurfville Road, Turnersville, NJ) at Wedgwood Country Club, highlighting his renowned chicken wings, tenders, and fries. The cozy dining room and bar will feature comfort food done right.
“All my life, I’ve known that I wanted to have my own restaurant,” says Chef Witcher, who made a name for himself working in South Jersey’s finest kitchens before competing on Food Network’s runaway hit Chopped. “It’s been a long time coming, but everything about this project, from the location to the timing to the joy of working with amazing partners, just feels right.”
Guests will choose from a wealth of simple, yet exciting options offered from the menu at The Wing Kitchen. Some opening menu items will include: Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders, Crispy Cauliflower, Wings with signature sauces of Honey Jalapeno, Garlic Parmesan, Smokehouse BBQ, Buffalo, Sesame Ginger or Chimichurri. For the over top indulgence don’t miss out on the unforgettable, crave-able Buttermilk Fried Donut with salted caramel.
The Bar @ Divots will feature Thin Crust Pizza, Market Fresh Salads, Cheesesteak Sandwiches, Burgers and Daily Specials. At the bar, guests can enjoy cocktails, beer, and wine. The Wing Kitchen will be open Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm, Closed Monday, Tuesday through Thursday from 11 am until 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11
