Cockadoodle Dan's in Palmyra, NJ

Is Cockadoodle Dan’s in Palmyra Closing?!

There were some rumors swirling on Facebook about the future of Cockadoodle Dan‘s in Palmyra. So, I’m here to set the story straight.

Unfortunately, the renowned eatery known for its knockout cheesesteaks and irresistibly flavored wings, among other creative and delicious offerings, will indeed cease operations after July 4th due to the landlord’s decision not to renew the lease.

As sad as that is, there is a silver lining as it has already secured a new and prime location at 75 E. Main Street in Moorestown!

57 E. Main Street in Moorestown will be the new home of Cockadoodle Dan’s

Following a thorough cleanup of the Palmyra establishment and the necessary preparations in Moorestown, Cockadoodle Dan’s will resume its operations. Situated between two already successful restaurants — Healthy Garden and Carollo’s Little Italy — the new Dan’s will occupy the former site of Never 1 Cup Bakery, and Bacio’s (which relocated to Palmyra several years ago after many successful years in Moorestown).

Dan Walsh, the owner, shared his plans with South Jersey Food Scene, stating, “After bidding farewell to our Palmyra location after July 4th, we will relocate everything to Moorestown with the goal of opening our doors in early to mid August.”

While Palmyra may feel the loss, Moorestown will reap the benefits of this culinary gem. Although the opening of a second location was initially slated for 2023, it will now be postponed to 2024.

In any case, let us unite in supporting Cockadoodle Dan’s and extending our best wishes for their successful transition to Moorestown! Stay tuned for opening news as we get it.
