Dad’s Deli of Marlton Opens Second Location in Bensalem (Bucks County)

Sharing this because a South Jersey based business is growing and taking an opportunity to open a second location in Bensalem (Bucks County).

As first reported on Philly Grub, South Jersey favorite Dad’s Deli in Marlton is officially expanding across the bridge with a second location in Bensalem. The popular South Jersey deli, owned by Matt and Lauren Fein, has taken over Bagelocity & the Soup King Cafe at 5611 Bensalem Blvd and will gradually transition the longtime Bucks County staple into a new Dad’s Deli location.

The expansion brings Dad’s signature menu of sandwiches and deli favorites to Pennsylvania while still keeping many of the items Bagelocity customers have loved for years, including its wide bagel selection and homemade soups. Catering will also be added as part of the new chapter. What a big win for Bensalem!

In a full-circle moment, Matt’s uncle Alan Fein — the former owner of Bagelocity and known locally as the “Original Soup King” — has returned to oversee day-to-day operations during the transition. But it will be handed off to Matt and Lauren and rebranded as Dad’s Deli.

For South Jersey food fans, it’s another example of a local success story continuing to grow beyond the region while still staying connected to its neighborhood roots.
