Attention Salem County: be on the lookout for Dawg House Grille, a new hot dog food truck based in Elmer that will offer upscale hot dogs, hand-cut fries, and some BBQ items, like brisket made on the truck’s built-in smoker.
These aren’t just any old Oscar Meyer hot dogs. They will be serving high-quality hot dogs and making them all by hand. Examples of some of the ‘dawgs’ they’ll offer are the Andouille Sausage Dog with fried oysters, pepper relish, and remoulade and a Chorizo Dog with salsa verde, pico, and Baja sauce. The truck will travel around to area breweries and wineries but will also be stationary at 373 Harding Highway in Elmer, the future home of Sirius Brewing Company & Cidery.
Both Dawg House Grille and Sirius Brewing Company & Cidery are owned by Brian Smith, Eric Mayhew, and other partners.
