Ristorante Fieni's Voorhees

When I wrote this article four years ago, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, beloved Ristorante Fieni’s of Voorhees had hoped to withstand the chaotic times.

Not only did they withstand the pandemic, but the popular Camden County Italian restaurant continues to thrive even in turbulent times.

It’s no surprise, though. The restaurant’s 29 years of service is a testament to its resilience and commitment to classic Italian dining.

When folks ask for the best Italian restaurants in South Jersey, people often mention Ristorante Fieni’s.

The Fieni family opened the restaurant at 800 S. Burnt Mill Road in 1995.

The website states, “The Fieni family has been serving quality interpretations and daring new twists on classic northern Italian dishes straight from the old country.” In other words, nothing too cheffy here. It’s just delicious, satisfying Italian food.

Furthermore, when you dine with them, you become family.

And according to over 600 Google reviews, many people corroborate this.

“Just like Nona’s kitchen,” one recent Google reviewer said.

“Cozy and homey,” another said.

It’s more than just the atmosphere that has people talking. The food and service get high marks, too! After almost 30 years, Fieni’s has the whole package that keeps guests returning year after year for casual, romantic, or special occasion dining.

Noteworthy favorite dishes include specialty eggplant parm (lightly battered and pan-fried eggplant, layered with fresh mozzarella and marinara), whole roasted branzino in Zingara sauce with capers, shrimp and tomatoes, and marinated roasted red peppers topped with burrata and house-made pesto.

Fieni’s also offers a great selection of desserts, including a new favorite, cannoli parfait with pistachios, chocolate chips, and crushed cannoli shells. YUM!

Fieni always does a tremendous take-out business, too. Call to order for easy curbside pick-up.

And good to know—Fieni is available for private parties and banquets and offers catered trays to go.

When considering Italian BYOB dining in South Jersey, put Ristorante Fieni’s on your list. They are open for lunch and dinner during the week and dinner on the weekend.
