Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers to open two Burlington County NJ locations

Two Locations of Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers Coming to Burlington County

Six years ago, Brian Bowman, of Medford, a seasoned food service manager at a renowned fast food chain, attended a hockey game with his then 8-year-old in the West Chester area. That is when Brian and his family first learned about Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, and they instantly fell in love. From that day forward, visiting and indulging in Freddy’s became a tradition whenever they attended hockey games in the West Chester area.

With his many years of experience in the food industry, Brian dreamed of venturing into entrepreneurship. When the time came, it was easy to choose Freddy’s as the brand he wanted to partner with and bring to South Jersey. The decision was easy due to the fantastic food, the brand’s commitment to reasonable prices, exceptional hospitality, and the company culture. Unlike your typical “fast-food” joints, Freddy’s takes pride in everything made to order with high-quality ingredients.

In February 2020, Brian signed the franchise agreement with the retro-inspired burger chain, envisioning a bright future. However, as fate would have it, the pandemic threw a curveball, effectively putting construction and opening plans on hold. Fast forward to 2023, and those plans are moving full steam ahead for the South Jersey locations of Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers.

First up for Brian and his partners is Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers at the former Burlington Center Mall site in Burlington Township, which was demolished in 2021 and re-developed, with a warehouse now taking up most of the land. Freddy’s will join Raising Cane’s and Panera at this location. Which is SO SMART because all of those warehouse workers will need somewhere to eat. They anticipate opening the Burlington location on November 29th.

A Cinnaminson location will come next, with plans to welcome the second South Jersey Freddy’s in March 2024. Fingers crossed for smooth construction and they can meet that anticipated opening date! See 42 Freeway’s article on this below.

Brian and his partners plan to bring more Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers locations to South Jersey, including in the Mount Laurel/Marlton and Cherry Hill/Voorhees areas.

These two Burlington County openings are just the beginning of what could be Freddy’s domination in South Jersey, with the potential for more to come! Personally, I’m excited because I tried Freddy’s once in nearby Delaware County, PA, and recall enjoying the steakburger and shoestring fries quite a bit.

Mark your calendars, Burlington County, Freddy’s is coming!
