The Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown presents this new hands-on baking event all about the story of hamantaschen (Jewish Purim cookies) and what they teach us about embracing our roots and sharing our stories.
The event includes a conversation with Marion Jacobson, Interim Folklife Director, about food, foodways, and cultural heritage. Participants will be able to bake their own hamantaschen as well.

This event is free to the public, all materials are provided, but there is a limited capacity. Reservations are recommended so they have enough supplies for all participants. Reserve your spot here!
The event will be held on Thursday, March 10 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at 395 Kings Highway in Moorestown.
