Cherry Hill, get ready for a new flavor sensation!
GAI Chicken & Rice, a new fast-casual eatery serving Singapore’s national dish, Hainan Chicken Rice, will open on Friday, December 1st, in the Crossroads Plaza Shopping Center at 843 Cooper Landing Rd, Unit 2, Cherry Hill. If you recall, this space was formerly Wawa. It closed when a super Wawa opened across the highway on the Maple Shade side. It’s the first GAI location outside of three Manhattan spots.
The Southeast Asian dish (also known as Khao Mun Gai) features crispy fried or roasted chicken, fragrant ginger rice, and flavorful sauces. Each entree comes with a green side salad.
Crispy chicken tenders, wings, and fries round out the menu.
A dessert concept called Spot Dessert Bar, owned by the same restaurant group, will also open in the same space. The dessert restaurant will offer Western desserts with an Asian flare—more on that in another post.
Let’s give Gai Chicken & Rice a warm welcome!
