Have you been to Geets Diner & Bar?
The South Jersey landmark circa 1942 is thriving as a beloved dining destination at 14 N. Black Horse Pike in in Williamstown (Gloucester County).
Geets is not only a classic diner, but also a full-service bar with a liquor license. On one side (in the front) is a large diner area complete with counter seating and two dining rooms. On the other side (in the back) is a large bar and lounge area. You get two experiences in one restaurant.
In the back bar/lounge area, there are plenty of TVs and even an outdoor patio with a big screen TV and fire pits! What other diner has that? The bar is also western-themed and hosts live music, trivia nights, bingo events, and more.
The menu is vast as you would expect of a diner, but it goes beyond the classic diner experience. Besides the usual breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, there are always “Chef’s Specials” on the menu featuring elevated diner fare. You can also select from several 4 course dinner options most under $28!
As diners go, you get a lot of bang for your buck here! Your bound to find something you love at a very affordable price with super friendly and prompt service. You honestly cannot beat the 3-course Early Bird specials (2-5pm) featuring twelve meals for just $12.99!
I love that they do a very wallet-friendly Happy Hour, too, and it runs for three hours (3-6pm)! Naturally, you’ll find specials on beers and wines, but you’ll also find a very creative handcrafted cocktail list!
They recently added a beautiful mural to one part of the dining room, which depicts the great history of Geets Diner. You can read more about the diner’s history below.
Do yourself a favor and visit Geets Diner & Bar if you haven’t already, or make sure it’s a regular spot to visit for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They also offer off-premise catering!
