Genova Pizza, a beloved South Jersey staple with more than four decades of history, is entering an exciting new era.
The story begins over 40 years ago when founder Gino Doukali, who emigrated from Morocco, opened his pizza shop in Audubon. Over the years, Genova Pizza became a neighborhood favorite, known for its quality pies and warm hospitality.
Today, Gino’s sons Ali and Omar Doukali have stepped in to carry on their father’s legacy—while also putting their own modern twist on the family business. The brothers have refreshed the brand with a new identity, embraced social media, and are now expanding Genova Pizza’s footprint deeper into South Jersey.
The first new location, a take-out only shop, quietly opened a few months ago inside the Marathon gas station at 748 Sicklerville Road in Williamstown (Gloucester County).
A second location is currently undergoing renovations at 1745 Williamstown Erial Road in Sicklerville (Camden County), the former home of Epiros Pizza. This new spot will offer a dining room, giving fans another location to enjoy Genova’s viral pizza pies and other food.
With this expansion, Genova Pizza is bridging its rich history with a bold new chapter—proving that a family dream can keep growing for generations to come.
While Ali and Omar remain fully dedicated to growing the family pizza business, their creative ambitions don’t stop there—they’re also emerging musicians and filmmakers. Recently, they produced a short film inspired by their pizzeria and are already planning a sitcom based on their story.
