GioFano's Pizzeria opening in Berlin Farmers Market

Giofano’s Pizzeria Opening at the Berlin Farmers Market

After serving loyal customers in Clementon for nearly two decades, Giofano’s Pizzeria is getting ready to begin an exciting new chapter.

Owner Roberto Faltz is opening a second Giofano’s location inside the Berlin Farmers Market, with a grand opening planned for Friday, July 18.

The new Berlin Farmers Market location will operate Thursday through Sunday, offering shoppers pizzas, sandwiches, and hoagies as they explore the market.

The new location will feature a smaller, more streamlined menu focused on customer favorites, including pizza by the slice, XL pizzas, 6-inch, 12-inch, and 18-inch hoagies, and sandwiches.

Specials will include:

  • Two cheese pizzas for $28.99
  • 18-inch hoagies for just $14.99

The hoagies will be made with premium meats and cheeses and served on the legendary Cacia’s Bakery bread, a staple that South Jersey food lovers know and appreciate.

It’s a menu designed to be quick, affordable, and packed with quality ingredients.

Building Toward Retirement—But Not Stepping Away Yet

For Roberto Faltz, opening a second location isn’t about growing into a large restaurant chain. Instead, it’s part of a thoughtful transition toward retirement.

After spending years building Giofano’s into a respected neighborhood pizzeria, Faltz hopes to eventually reduce his workload while giving the next generation an opportunity to carry the business forward.

Until then, Roberto plans to remain actively involved, especially during the launch of the Berlin Farmers Market location, helping ensure customers receive the same quality food and friendly service that have defined Giofano’s in Clementon for the past 17 years.

In addition to Giofano’s Pizzeria, he also owns Falzano Food Distributor in Blackwood, which he will eventually sell.

A Story of Resilience

The opening carries even deeper meaning for Faltz and his family.

Last February, Roberto was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent surgery to have it removed.

Thankfully, the tumor was non-cancerous, and after recovering, he’s now turning his attention toward this exciting new venture.

It’s an inspiring reminder that even after life’s biggest challenges, new beginnings are still possible.

If all goes according to plan, Saturday, July 18, will mark the grand opening of Giofano’s newest location inside the Berlin Farmers Market.

South Jersey Food Scene wishes them nothing but success as they open up at the Berlin Mart!
