Greens and Grains Cherry Hill

Greens and Grains Cherry Hill and Glassboro

Greens and Grains are on a tear lately. As I previously reported, it opened two new locations down the shore in Cape May County this summer. There is even more big news for the regional plant-based chain. September is going to be a big month with the impending opening of two more storefronts.

I had mentioned they’re opening a new Cherry Hill location. They announced the news back in March via their social media page that they secured space in the Ellisburg Circle Shopping Center on Kings Highway. It generated a lot of excitement in the SJFS group, that’s for sure.

I swung by the other day, and the sign is up, while the windows still have paper. Greens and Grains founder Nicole Psounos assured me that progress is full-speed ahead and will likely be open sometime in September, pending inspections and permits.

The Cherry Hill location is a franchise, as is the Voorhees location, which opened over two years ago. It recently celebrated its two year anniversary.

Just this week, Greens and Grains announced that another new shop will be opening on the campus of Rowan University in Glassboro. It will take over the address where The Pierogie Place was (320 Rowan Blvd). I hadn’t known they closed!

Local news site 42 Freeway was quick to publish the news.

I recently spoke with the Glassboro franchisee, Kamran, about the new location that will be at the Rowan Boulevard complex, across from the Courtyard Hotel. Work is in progress, and an opening date will become clearer in early September. They are hoping it will be shortly after school starts.

It will come as good news for plant-based Rowan students and Gloucester County folks.

Stay tuned for more information about these two highly-anticipated openings very soon!
