Haddon Township Launches ‘Almost Friday’ Happy Hour

Haddon Township is smack dab in the middle of two dry towns (Haddonfield and Collingswood). It counts about 10 bars and restaurants along and around Haddon Avenue. It has now proclaimed itself “The Happy Hour Capital of South Jersey.”

To celebrate that, Haddon Township has launched “Almost Friday,” a new town-wide Happy Hour initiative designed to boost local business traffic.

Starting July 31, and every Thursday from 3 to 6 PM, residents and visitors can enjoy exclusive food and drink specials at participating businesses across the township. This initiative aims to
highlight the diverse offerings of Haddon Township while providing a fun, relaxed way to kick off the weekend early.

So far, participating businesses include: Central Taco & Tequila, Goodbeet, Keg & Kitchen, P.J. Whelihan’s, Reunion Hall, Rexy’s, The Pour House, The Taproom featuring Santucci’s, and Treno.

“I am proud to endorse the ‘Almost Friday’ Happy Hour program, as it provides a wonderful
opportunity for our community to come together, support local businesses, and celebrate what
Haddon Township has to offer,” says Mayor Randall Teague. “It’s a great way to start the
weekend and highlight the unique charm of our town.”

Every Thursday, head to Haddon Township and support local businesses, enjoy great deals, and experience the unique charm of Haddon Township.
