South Jersey has a new soul food restaurant option. Hot Butter Soul Supper Club recently opened at 9003 Crescent Blvd (Route 130 S) in Pennsauken. It is the former location of Men in the Kitchen, which I miss very much. But this new concept sounds interesting!
The restaurant is open for take-out Thursday-Sunday with a limited menu only until the end of the month. See the menu and hours below.
Then, on December 1st, it will open for full-service indoor dining and a full menu.
A “Boujee Brunch” will be served on Saturday and Sunday by reservation only.
Hot Butter Soul Supper Club is owned and operated by the family behind Purpose By Design Catering based out of Willingboro, NJ.
The team includes Executive Chef Keeya Benson, her husband Kevin, and their sons Javonn and Kevin.
I wish them a lot of luck. Stay tuned for more details.
