At the helm of Indeblue is Chef Rakesh Ramola, a classically trained chef from Mumbai, India. He honed his cooking skills in esteemed restaurants across the Middle East and London before moving to the United States to pursue his American dream of owning a restaurant. Rakesh and his co-owner wife, Heather, and their family live nearby in Marlton.

The original Indeblue opened 14 years ago in Collingswood and then came a second location in Philadelphia, which operated for nearly a decade. After the lease ended, the Ramolas decided to return home to South Jersey.

“We are delighted to be back in South Jersey,” the Ramolas expressed. “Cherry Hill has welcomed us with open arms, and we are excited to be a part of this community.”

Upon entering Indeblue, you are immediately captivated by the inviting ambiance. The restaurant’s contemporary decor sets the perfect stage for a memorable dining experience. The restaurant’s charming atmosphere enhances any occasion, whether an intimate date night or a gathering with friends. Additionally, the restaurant offers outdoor seating for up to 20 guests.

Of the notable highlights that set Indeblue apart from other Indian eateries in the area are the daily brunch and dinner tasting menu. The brunch menu features thali, a meal featuring an assortment of small bowls arranged on a large platter.

The very popular multi-course tasting menu for dinner, served family-style, showcases Indian cuisine, unlike any other restaurant. Indeblue also offers monthly specials created by Ramola, which are unique and exciting and not available anywhere else.
