Kismet Bagels Collingswood

Kismet Bagels Now Open in Collingswood

APRIL 2025 UPDATE:
Kismet is now open!

Get excited, bagel lovers! Kismet Bagels will be taking over the space recently vacated by Healthy Garden at 747 Haddon Avenue in Collingswood.

It will be Kismet’s 5th location and first in South Jersey. Collingswood Farmers Market goers will already be familiar with Kismet, as they have been well-received vendors at the market for the past three seasons.

Jacob and Alexandra Cohen first launched Kismet Bagels at the beginning of the pandemic, and they haven’t looked back. They built a steady, almost cult-like following almost immediately. In 2022, they opened their first brick-and-mortar in Fishtown. Since then, they’ve opened three other locations: Rittenhouse Square, Reading Terminal Market, and Narberth/Lower Merion on the Main Line.

“We’ve been thinking about opening a store in Collingswood for a while,” co-owner Jacob Cohen said. “We’ve been very successful at the Farmer’s Market, so opening in town makes sense. We’re coming, and we couldn’t be more excited!”

Kismet Bagels

Kismet is known for its crisp, chewy bagels with tons of topping. The bagels are smothered with toppings on all sides before being baked in an oven. The result is what they call “Montreal on the outside, New York on the inside.” They’re also recognized for homemade flavored schmears and “Slow Toasted” Everything Bagel Seasoning.

The storefront will offer dine-in, take-out, and grab-and-go items. The menu, featuring breakfast and lunch items, will be very similar to the Narberth location. There will be loose bagels, loose bialys, bagel sandwiches, bread sandwiches, schmears, spices, and much more.

There will be vegan and gluten-free options. Hot or iced coffee drinks featuring Kensington-based Moonraker Coffee Roasters will also be available, as well as other beverages.

It will be open seven days a week from 7 AM to 2 PM.

They’re targeting an opening sometime in April.
