From its innovative brunch dishes and gourmet burgers to flavorful BBQ options and vegetarian-friendly choices, Kitchen 519’s menu celebrated fresh, local ingredients and bold flavors. The restaurant earned high praise from diners for its quality cuisine and warm service, building a loyal following for over 10 years.
Sadly, Kitchen 519 has announced its closing today. A post on the restaurant’s Facebook page today marked the conclusion of its journey in Glendora.
The closure marks the end of a chapter for Kitchen 519, and while that is sad news to its many faithful fans, the space won’t be vacant for long as a new owner will take over with another concept. Details are forthcoming.
Though Kitchen 519’s doors are no longer open in Glendora, owner John Steward has promised catering will still be offered and has invited diners to enjoy his BBQ offerings at Revival BBQ across the bridge in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia.
