One of Haddon Township’s favorite coffee destinations is preparing for a major expansion as Koupa Espresso Bar plans to relocate to a larger space across the street at 21 Haddon Avenue.
The move will put the business in a new building being built by Kelly Builders. The project will have four shops on the ground floor and four luxury apartments above, adding new stores and housing options to the center of “The Ave.”
Koupa is the first business for the development, signaling an exciting new chapter for the growing café.
More than just moving, the new space will enable Koupa to offer an all-day Mediterranean café experience. Customers can expect a bigger menu with new savory foods, special drinks, and imported Greek products. The bigger location will also open earlier, stay open later, and have a new outdoor patio to create a welcoming place for the community to gather.
Owners say the expanded concept will build upon the café’s existing reputation for quality coffee and hospitality while introducing a broader Mediterranean-inspired experience throughout the day.
One of the most anticipated projects on Haddon Avenue, when finished, the building will help strengthen the town’s busy downtown by adding new shops.
Additional retail tenants for the development have not yet been announced, but Koupa’s commitment to the project offers an early glimpse of the site’s future.
An official opening date for the new location has not been announced yet; however, construction is almost done on the project, which will allow Koupa to start the permitting process and the build out.
In the meantime, continue to visit Koupa’s cafe at 24 Haddon Avenue.
