Bubble tea fans in Burlington County will soon have to say goodbye to one of the area’s bubble tea drink destinations.
This is the second area Kung Fu Tea to close in recent months. Cherry Hill closed in April.
Kung Fu Tea’s Cinnaminson location has announced it will permanently close after serving the community for five years. According to a notice posted at the store, the location’s final day of business will be August 15.
In a heartfelt message to customers, the team thanked the community for its years of support.
“After five wonderful years serving the Cinnaminson community, we would like to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your support, loyalty, and kindness throughout the years. It has truly been our pleasure to serve you.”
While the Cinnaminson shop is closing, the owners emphasized that they are not leaving South Jersey altogether. Customers are encouraged to continue visiting their Turnersville location, located in Cross Keys Commons Plaza at 3501 Route 42, Suite 310, Turnersville.
The announcement expressed gratitude for the memories made over the past five years and thanked loyal customers for being part of the shop’s journey.
No reason for the closure was provided in the announcement or on the store’s social media.
The closure marks the end of a five-year run in Cinnaminson, where Kung Fu Tea became a popular destination for bubble tea, milk teas, fruit teas, slushes, and other specialty beverages.
For local fans, there is still an opportunity to enjoy their favorite drinks before the doors close on August 15, or continue supporting the business at its Turnersville location after the Cinnaminson store’s final day.
Please note there is still a Kung Fu Tea located in the Hung Vuong Shopping Center at 1469 Brace Road in Cherry Hill.
