Former Merchantville Diner will become Merchant House, Expects Early April Opening

Merchant House will open at 24 S. Centre Street in Merchantville early March

It was announced this week that the former Merchantville Diner will open as Merchant House, operated by Patti Sharp, formerly of The Station House restaurant in Haddon Heights.

Merchantville is excited for this new restaurant addition that joins The Blue Monkey, Park Place Cafe & Restaurant, Charlie’s Crepes, La Guadalupana Mexican Restaurant, Sakura Japanese Restaurant, and more.

Construction is almost complete and they are expecting to be open by early April. It looks so beautiful inside!

Looking forward to the grand opening of the Merchant House restaurant! The Station House run by the same owner, Patti, in Haddon Heights was wonderful and popular and the locals there are very sorry it closed, but I hope they’ll be willing to travel the few miles to Merchantville to try the brand-new Merchant House. I wish the best to Patti as she prepares to open much later than planned due to COVID-19. P.S. I’ve lived in both Haddon Heights and Merchantville and love both towns!
