A few restaurants in Merchantville are planning their own Summer Restaurant Week. Each restaurant will offers its own special offer to invite guests in to dine. Summer is typically the slowest time of year for inland restaurants, so many have to get creative to fill seats. They’re hoping this lays the framework for a bigger Winter Restaurant Week (again when it can be slower for local businesses).
So far, participating Merchantville businesses are Restaurant 1793, Omega’s Restaurant, Thai Ginger, Merchantville Taco House, and Eclipse Brewing.
Restaurant 1793 – 7 E Park Avenue
Restaurant 1793 is leading the charge. This new Merchantville fine dining BYOB restaurant opened earlier in the year. It typically offer a 4- or 6-course tasting menu, but have put together a special 3-course menu at $55 to hopefully inspire guests to come try the restaurant for the first time or welcome back returning customers. The menu will feature a choice of starter, main, and dessert for a set price with optional cheese and caviar selections for an upgraded price. The menu will be offered July 15-18. Reservations are strongly recommended.
Thai Ginger – 24 S. Centre Street
Thai Ginger, which opened in 2024, is offering 15% off the check for dine in and free fried ice cream. Folks ordering online for pick-up will get 20% off during Thai Ginger’s Merchantville Restaurant Week (July 13-19) when using promo code HAPPYWEEK.
