This week, we met up with friends for a night out at one of our favorite spots, Michael Coastal Italian Grille in Collingswood. Located in the former Nunzio’s space, the restaurant has been beautifully remodeled—modern, sleek, and inviting. The dining room feels spacious and open, yet it also offers areas that can be easily sectioned off for private events. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and clearly committed to great service.
The regular menu is elegant with a slightly eclectic flair, highlighting fresh seafood and creative pasta dishes. Michael also offers tasting menus and seasonal themed menus during the winter months, and we were lucky enough to catch one during our visit.

We kicked things off with the Pistachio Burrata—creamy, crunchy, and an absolutely perfect start to the meal. Other starters included a rich and flavorful Lobster Bisque, pork belly grilled to perfection, and a crisp, spicy Caesar salad. The pasta course was equally impressive, featuring a decadent Lobster Mac & Cheese and a fabulous crab pasta. It was an incredible beginning to the night.

Somehow, the entrées managed to raise the bar even higher. We enjoyed pepper crusted seared Ahi Tuna, a perfectly cooked Prime Rib served rare, and a velvety seafood stew that was both comforting and refined. Every dish was outstanding.

Dessert was, quite literally, the icing on the cake. A Banana Foster cheesecake and an indulgent chocolate mousse provided the perfect ending to an exceptional meal.
Overall, it was an excellent night with friends, marked by outstanding food and top notch service. We will definitely be back.
