Mikado, the well-established Japanese restaurant at 2320 Marlton Pike W in Cherry Hill, will mark its 25th anniversary in 2025. To keep the dining experience fresh and engaging, owners Kenny and Tony Lin have acquired a liquor license. Read more here.
Currently, Mikado offers a small selection of alcoholic beverages, including canned domestic and imported beers, various sakes, and a limited selection of bottled wines. However, the owners have plans to enhance their offerings by constructing a new bar at the front of the restaurant, replacing the existing outdoor patio. The bar, which will seat around 15 people, is expected to open in about six months. A full-time bartender will be hired to craft and serve cocktails, adding a new dimension to the dining experience.
The restaurant has also added some new appetizers. There is plenty to enjoy in addition to its amazing sushi, sashimi, entrees, and tableside hibachi selections. For private dining, you can request one of the two tatami rooms in the back of the restaurant.

So, visit Mikado very soon if you haven’t, or give Mikado another visit if it’s been a while. Be sure to wish them a Happy 25th Anniversary!
Mikado is open daily for lunch and dinner. You can also order online or through Grubhub and DoorDash.
