MARCH UPDATE: Moe’s Hot Chicken & Grill will be soft opening on Friday, March 13th. I met Mo today and I’m excited for what he has planned. It’ll be more than hot chicken/chicken sandwiches. There will be tenders & wings, of course. But also global flavor inspired cheesesteaks, chopped cheese, tacos, and milkshakes and refreshers. Final menu coming soon. There is seating inside and will be seating outside. It’ll be on all the major 3rd party delivery apps. Free food on both first soft opening day and grand opening day (March 20th). 100% halal.
Here are a couple interior photos I took.

Voorhees is about to get a fiery new dining destination. Moe’s Hot Chicken & Grill, a family-owned eatery founded by 23-year-old entrepreneur Momin Khan, of Laurel Springs, is preparing to open its doors in early November at 1227 Haddonfield Berlin Road, Unit 7 (561 Plaza, formerly home to Suma’s Kitchen).
Unlike chain-style hot chicken spots, Moe’s is carving out its own identity in South Jersey’s food scene. “We’re not your typical franchise hot chicken spot—we’re a small, family-owned business bringing something fresh to South Jersey,” Momin explained.
The restaurant’s menu will highlight a creative twist on the classic American hot chicken, featuring bold seasonings and global fusion flavors. While compact, the menu promises to be packed with flavor, catering to both dine-in and take-out customers.
With its mix of family roots, youthful energy, and bold flavors, Moe’s Hot Chicken & Grill is aiming to spice up Voorhees when it opens this fall.
Moe’s Hot Chicken & Grill has launched its social media pages to share behind-the-scenes updates, sneak peeks, and progress leading up to opening day. Give them a follow and stay tuned for more details!
