Mr. Wish Opens New Tea Shop on Route 38 in Cherry Hill

A new Mr. Wish has opened at 1512 Route 38 in Cherry Hill, NJ. In the 10 years that I have lived in the area, this building has been home to many things: a diner, an ice cream shop, a clothing store, and a few other things I can’t even remember. Now it is home to Mr. Wish, a fruit/milk/bubble tea shop. The owner also runs the Mr. Wish further down on Route 38 at the Sun Seng Market shopping center in Pennsauken.

If you are already a fan of fruit/milk teas, you will probably already be familiar with Mr. Wish. Other area locations include Barclay Farms shopping center on Route 70 in Cherry Hill and on Haddonfield-Berlin Road in Voorhees. Mr. Wish seems to be more prolific in our area than other bubble tea shops such as Kung Fu Tea and Tiger Sugar.

The interior is ultra clean and spacious. It’s very bright thanks to big windows, which allow a lot of natural light in as well as lots of LED lighting. The white walls and white marble floors also bring maximum brightness. There is some seating with tables, chairs, sofas, and loungers. It’s a very “Instagrammable” and “Tiktokable” space complete with a feature wall where you can take selfies with your drinks or photos with your friends. The brand’s tagline, “Have a drink, make a wish” is front and center on the wall.

The menu is pretty large, so you’re sure to find something you like from the various teas and smoothies, etc. There are also a couple of waffle snacks. I tried the Black Tiger Milk upon my visit and took an Orange Green Tea with coconut jelly to go. Both were very good.
