Oaklyn is celebrating a major milestone this summer as its beloved community tradition, Oaklyn Final Fridays, marks 10 years of bringing neighbors, visitors, and local businesses together on West Clinton Avenue in the South Jersey borough.
Held on the last Friday of every month from May through September, Final Fridays has become one of South Jersey’s most anticipated outdoor gatherings. What started as a grassroots-style community night has grown into a full-fledged street festival that transforms downtown Oaklyn into a lively, walkable hub of food, music, and community connection.
From 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM, W. Clinton Ave comes alive with an ever-changing lineup of local food trucks, offering everything from classic festival favorites to creative seasonal eats. Guests can also enjoy craft beer from nearby favorite Tonewood Brewing, adding a distinctly South Jersey flavor to the experience.
A live music stage anchors the event, showcasing a rotating roster of local bands and solo performers that keep the energy high throughout the evening. Along the street, local vendors and small businesses round out the experience, offering handmade goods, community outreach, and unique finds that reflect Oaklyn’s creative spirit.
More than just a festival, Final Fridays has become a true community tradition, where families, friends, and first-time visitors gather under the summer sky to unwind and connect.
