Paloma Restaurante, located at the former Tortilla Press location at 703 Haddon Avenue in Collingswood, features modern Mexican fine dining in a stylish setting by owner Chef Tim Dedja, of The Boiling House in Cherry Hill, along with new chef Ivan Reyes.
The contemporary Mexican eatery features upscaled versions of familiar favorites and reimagined dishes bursting with flavor and infused with international flair. You’ll find popular taqueria fare such as tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, quesadillas, and guacamole next to fusion items such as Seafood Paella, Scallop Ceviche, and Chicken Spring Rolls.
Dedja’s fiancée, Aurora Vojnika, designed the polished interior with more muted/Earth tones than other local Mexican restaurants. Three-dimensional cacti on the walls serve as artwork, and woven baskets as light fixtures add texture. It makes for an attractive and Instagram-worthy backdrop.
While Paloma is BYOB, it offers alcohol-free versions of popular cocktails, including margaritas, ninas frescas, and Palomas. The requisite Jarritos, Mexican coke, and soft drinks round out the drinks menu.
The restaurant seats 75 guests and offers dine-in service for dinner six days a week (closed Mondays), with weekend brunch.
