That was quick! If you recall last month, I wrote about Com Ga Houston making its debut in the Sun Seng Supermarket shopping center on Route 38 in Pennsauken.
The franchisee decided to reopen as Pho Today, a popular chain of Vietnamese restaurants in PA and NJ instead. This is the 10th location of the growing Vietnamese chain. Pho Today offers a larger menu of phở noodle soups to flavorful bánh mì sandwiches, rice plates, vermicelli bowls, and vegetarian dishes.
I stopped by today to get some updated photos and I decided to order banh mi sandwiches for lunch. The interior is the same, but all of the signs and branding has changed.
The banh mi sandwiches we had today were outstanding. I used to live in Philadelphia where I have had all the banh mi and these absolutely stack up. Great crusty on the outside, soft on the inside bread. Tender, flavorful meat, perfectly pickled veggies, and pungent cilantro. The only thing I could have asked for was more veggies. But that’s me. Still a GREAT sandwich!
Looking forward to going back to try more! You should absolutely add Pho Today to your list of Vietnamese eateries to try in South Jersey.
