Pinoy Piyesta Brings Filipino Food, Culture, Music & Community to Camden’s Wiggins Waterfront Park

South Jersey is about to experience one of the region’s most vibrant cultural celebrations as Pinoy Piyesta returns to the Camden Waterfront on Saturday, August 8, bringing an afternoon filled with authentic Filipino food, live entertainment, cultural performances, and family-friendly fun. The festival takes place from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Wiggins Waterfront Park, offering visitors a chance to celebrate the rich traditions, creativity, and hospitality of the Filipino community.

As a proud South Jersey Food Scene Media Partner, we’re excited to help spread the word about this incredible event and encourage everyone to come out and experience one of the area’s most exciting cultural festivals.

Organized by Tatak Kanto, Pinoy Piyesta has grown into a signature celebration that showcases the best of Filipino culture through food, music, art, and community. Whether you’re Filipino, have always wanted to explore the cuisine, or simply love discovering new cultural experiences, this festival promises something for everyone.

One of the biggest highlights is, of course, the food.

Guests can enjoy a variety of authentic Filipino dishes from several outstanding vendors, including:

  • Kanto Filipino BBQ, serving authentic Filipino BBQ, lumpia, and Filipino street food favorites like isaw, kwek-kwek, fish balls, kikiam, and siomai.
  • Kapamilya Food Truck, offering a delicious selection of Filipino breads, ube products like ube ice cream, ube turon, and ube boba drinks, along with beloved Filipino classics such as taho, halo-halo, bibingka, and puto bumbong.
  • Patok by Rach, bringing some of the Philippines’ most beloved pork dishes, including lechon belly, pork sisig, lechon kawali, pork lumpia, and chicharon bulaklak.
  • Gene’s Food Concessions, brings festival classics like funnel cakes, chicken fingers, hamburgers, cheesesteaks, hot dogs, and lemonade.

From smoky grilled meats and savory rice dishes to sweet treats and comforting classics, festival-goers will have plenty of opportunities to discover why Filipino cuisine continues to gain popularity throughout the region.

Beyond the food, Pinoy Piyesta will feature cultural showcases, family-friendly activities, artisan vendors, and live entertainment throughout the afternoon. This year’s celebration will also include a concert performance by headliner is Honcho, formerly known as Bosx1ne, the founder and leader of the Filipino hip-hop collective Ex Battalion.

The festival is designed to bring people together while celebrating Filipino heritage, creativity, and community in one of South Jersey’s most scenic venues along the Delaware River.

Admission is free, making it an easy summer outing for families, food lovers, and anyone interested in experiencing the warmth and diversity of Filipino culture.
