Located in the heart of Harvey Cedars, Plantation Restaurant & Bar is a sophisticated restaurant with a bright and inviting décor and an adventurous American menu. The restaurant which is open year-round completed a full renovation in summer 2017.
The new interior features vibrant and tropical colors with a hint of Miami Beach. Green and white frond leaf wallpaper, new lighting and flooring, and playful artwork brighten up the inside and create a fresh, welcoming and inspiring atmosphere.
For those that enjoy a great cocktail and live music, the energetic bar at Plantation incorporates an extensive menu of specialty cocktails – both classic and creative, as well as beers and wines.

One of the new drink additions is the Kinsey Cove, a 51 oz rum punch cocktail featuring Bacardi Dragonberry, Pineapple, Banana, and Coconut Rums with pineapple and cranberry juice, and topped off with prosecco. It is served in an oversized fishbowl-like glass with multiple colorful straws, perfect for sharing with friends! It will set you back $36, but it’s worth every penny!
The menu features traditional, down the shore favorites joined by inventive seasonal items that blend contemporary American beach flavors. They use only the finest and freshest items available from local fresh fish and seafood, but also offer great steaks and other specialties. Vegetarian dishes and a happy hour menu with drink specials round out the menu.

Everything we tried upon our recent visit had a stunning presentation and great flavor. This restaurant in Harvey Cedars on Long Beach Island executes fresh and delicious dishes thanks to Executive Chef Jeff Alberti, Director of Beverage Len Boris, and General Manager Pete Palladino.
There is live music throughout the week and acoustic artists on the weekends.
If you have plans to visit Long Beach Island this summer, put Plantation on the list of restaurants to dine at.
