UPDATE: Qdoba Mexican Eats in Marlton opens on Monday, September 15th.
Qdoba Mexican Eats, a chain of Mexican fast-casual restaurants, is opening another location in South Jersey at The View at Marlton, 1053 Route 73 in Marlton.
I happened to be in the area seeing if Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop was opened yet (since Google says it is, but it’s definitely not—sigh!), and noticed them working in the new Qdoba Mexican Eats next door.

I popped my head and asked when they expect to be open. They couldn’t give me a firm date, but said it could be as early as next week. They are working hard on the final touches at Qdoba Mexican Eats in Marlton.

There is a location in a standalone building at Ellisburg Circle Shopping Center on Kings Highway in Cherry Hill. It’s been there a while. Another one opened on Route 38 in Mount Laurel a few years ago, but it closed after a brief time.
There are many Mexican fast casual options in South Jersey. Plenty of Chipotle’s, Panchero’s, some Moe’s Southwest Grill’s, and now Tacoria’s entering the space. It seems to be a popular option among fast casual diners in the area.
Qdoba offers the usual Mexican fast casual fare: tacos, burritos, quesadilla, bowls, salads, sides, and kids meals. A big selling point is that, unlike some competitors, guacamole is not extra to add to your meal.
Marlton and Cherry Hill seems to be the sweet spot for a lot of these types of places. Routes 70 and 73 are hotbeds of commercial businesses. When a real estate becomes available, it’s usually snapped up pretty quickly.
Are there any fast casual restaurants missing that you’d like to see? Let me know in the comments.
