Quick Bitez Healthy Convenience Store Opens in Collingswood

Quick Bitez has opened at 900 Haddon Avenue in Collingswood, offering a grab-and-go concept focused on fresh, plant-based foods. Founded by private and corporate chef William “Chef Will” Atkins, the business seeks to redefine convenience stores by replacing processed snacks with healthy, chef-prepared meals.

Chef Will is also known for his “24-Hour Vegan” brand, which offers meal prep services. He explained that opening a storefront was a natural progression for his expanding business, as he was already selling prepared meals at Haddon Culinary and building his customer base.

“I was walking by one day and noticed the space in this building for lease,” Will told South Jersey Food Scene. “It hit me that this would be the perfect spot for a healthy food store.”

He noted that with the 900 Haddon Building nearly fully leased, he wanted to offer tenants and community members a convenient option for healthy lunches or snacks.

The store features a range of ready-to-eat, plant-based and pescatarian options, including wraps, protein bowls, parfaits, fresh fruit, cold-pressed juices, packaged snacks, and beverages. Each item is crafted to be nutritious, calorie-conscious, and convenient for customers seeking healthier choices.

He also has a coffee machine that features La Colombe Coffee.

Quick Bitez also offers weekly meal prep plans tailored for everyday healthy eating or higher-protein, performance-focused diets. An online portal has been developed and is available for ordering and in-store pickup. Ordering delivery is also available on DoorDash.

Beyond serving healthy, plant-based meals, Quick Bitez is also committed to investing in the next generation. Founder Chef Will Atkins says the business has been about more than food since day one—it’s about creating opportunities and developing future leaders.

Three young team members have been instrumental in helping build the business from the ground up: Nye’Yana Syms, a nursing major with a 3.4 GPA; Chris’cier Pearson, a psychology and business major, football student-athlete, and 3.5 GPA student; and Noah Sime, a sports data science major, track and field student-athlete, and holder of a 3.8 GPA. By empowering talented young people and recognizing their hard work and potential, Quick Bitez hopes to build not only a successful business but also a stronger future for the community.

The storefront is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The concept is primarily a grab-and-go market, serving commuters, office workers, and anyone seeking quick, wholesome meals… or quick bites (if you will).

Quick Bitez offers a new approach to healthy convenience in Collingswood, emphasizing chef-prepared, plant-based foods that make healthy eating accessible and convenient.
