Construction is moving quickly on a new QuickChek convenience store and gas station in Westampton, with the building now fully up and gas pumps already installed along Burlington-Mount Holly Road near Irick Road. The project, first proposed in late 2024, appears to be nearing completion and is expected to open soon.
The new QuickChek is being developed near the New Jersey Turnpike Exit 5, directly across from major retail destinations, warehouses, and new apartment buildings.
Plans call for a roughly 5,670-square-foot convenience store with a covered fueling station on a 2.75-acre property. Real estate listings tied to the development indicate the project is slated for completion in 2026 under a long-term lease agreement with QuickChek.
The location is part of a larger redevelopment effort in the area that also includes roadway improvements and the realignment of Irick Road to better connect with nearby commercial traffic patterns.
QuickChek has grown into one of New Jersey’s most popular convenience store and gas station chains by combining fuel service with a strong focus on fresh, made-to-order food. Most QuickChek’s are based in North and Central Jersey, but they are beginning to make their way south and this is the 2nd in Burlington County.
In addition to snacks and everyday convenience items, QuickChek locations offer a wide variety of customizable subs and sandwiches, breakfast burritos, wraps, salads, baked goods, smoothies, and specialty coffee drinks.
The chain is especially known for its made-to-order sub menu, featuring options such as cheesesteaks, Italian subs, chicken tender sandwiches, and build-your-own creations prepared on fresh baked rolls.
QuickChek also serves hot and iced coffees, espresso drinks, and seasonal beverages alongside grab-and-go snacks and healthier options.
