A popular South Jersey bagel-and-cheesesteak spot, originally in Berlin, has expanded with a new location in Burlington Township. Raceway Bagels & Steaks is now open at 2524 Mount Holly Road, bringing its creative bagel lineup and hearty cheesesteaks on Route 541.
The growing local concept has built a strong following for combining classic staples with bold, over-the-top twists. The menu features fresh-baked bagels, house-made cream cheeses, breakfast sandwiches, and loaded cheesesteaks, giving customers options from early morning through lunch.
Breakfast is a major focus, with crowd-pleasers like the Raceway Deluxe, a bagel stacked with eggs, smashed potatoes, double breakfast meat, and melted cheese. Traditional bagel varieties—such as everything, cinnamon raisin, and poppy are joined by more creative flavors like jalapeño cheddar, blueberry crunch, and even Fruity Pebbles-inspired bagels.
The shop’s cheesesteaks are equally attention-grabbing. Options include the popular Ribeye Cheesesteak, overstuffed with a pound of ribeye meat and your choice of cheese (Cooper Sharp is highly recommended!), and the Capital Cheesesteak, piled high with ribeye, fried onions, pork roll, and Cooper Sharp cheese, an unmistakably New Jersey combination.
In addition to bagels and steaks, the menu also includes burgers, wraps, deli sandwiches, and shareable sides like loaded fries, tater tots, and scrapple bites, making for a tasty casual stop for breakfast or lunch.
The Burlington Township opening marks an expansion for the concept owned by Steve Capers and his wife, Ree. With its mix of classic comfort foods and creative flavor combinations, the new shop aims to quickly become a go-to destination for bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and cheesesteaks in the area.
