Royal Mile Coffee Roasters opened its coffee shop at 225 Haddon Avenue (Haddon Towne Center) in Westmont/Haddon Township last week. I stopped by to take a look!

This quaint, bright cafe is their 2nd location (the original is in Oaklyn). There was a short-lived shop in Gloucester City, but that location didn’t work out.
Owner Jamie Blanchard started Royal Mile as a passion project in 2013, and has been roasting coffee ever since. The roastery and warehouse are in Cherry Hill, where he can also ship all over the country. Origin of the coffee beans, sustainability, and flavor notes are all important to Jamie. I love people who take their coffee seriously.
If you do, too, you’ll find a blend you love at Royal Mile. Whether you’re a fan of light roasts, medium roasts, or dark roasts, you’ll find something to your liking. Or maybe you’re more into particular flavor notes or origins. Either way, you can feel good about supporting a small, local business.
In addition to drip coffee, you can also order a latte, cappuccino, and other coffee drinks. There is a small assortment of pastries and some canned cold brew coffee drinks. While there is seating inside, most people were taking out upon my visit over the weekend.
Hours are 7AM-2PM daily.
So, go ahead South Jersey coffee lovers, get your coffee fix on Haddon Avenue.
