You might think everything along the shore closes after Labor Day, but that’s not always true. A new waterfront dining destination opened its doors in Longport in August and will remain open year-round.
Seaview Bar & Grille, the latest concept from the owners of Catch Restaurant & Bar, is now operating at Seaview Harbor Marina, offering patrons coastal views, fresh seafood, and classic American fare.
Located at 301 Somers Point–Longport Boulevard, just beyond the JFK Memorial Bridge, the restaurant began service in the same space formerly occupied by LaBarca, which closed in June. Prior to LaBarca, it was Luciano Lamberti’s Sunset Marina & Restaurant for many years.
The new establishment is the brainchild of brothers Robert Liccio and Chef Joseph Tucker, who also manage Catch in Longport. It’s a family affair with both Jo Ann Liccio and Chasity Tucker also playing a role in managing the business.
Seaview Bar & Grille presents a menu anchored in maritime flavors and complemented by handcrafted cocktails. Every table in the restaurant features views of the marina, enhancing the dining experience with a nautical ambiance.
In addition to regular service, Seaview Bar & Grille plans to host a range of events, including wedding receptions, banquets, and other gatherings.
The restaurant is currently open from Wednesday through Sunday.
