Sitar Opens at Hard Rock Atlantic City, Bringing Upscale Indian Dining to the Boardwalk

A new chapter in Atlantic City’s dining scene has begun with the opening of Sitar Indian Cuisine inside the iconic Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, marking the first Indian restaurant to operate within the resort.

The highly anticipated restaurant introduces authentic Indian flavors, elevated dining, and a modern culinary experience to one of the city’s most recognizable entertainment destinations. The opening is part of Hard Rock Atlantic City’s ongoing investment in expanding its food and beverage offerings and enhancing the guest experience.

Located within the casino resort, Sitar combines traditional Indian recipes with contemporary presentation, offering guests the opportunity to experience India’s rich culinary traditions in an upscale setting. The restaurant’s menu features a variety of classic dishes prepared with authentic spices and ingredients, while the dining room exudes a sophisticated atmosphere that complements the resort’s luxurious surroundings.

The team behind Sitar is the same team behind The Nizams Indian Cuisine, a popular Indian restaurant in Egg Harbor Township.

“This journey has been built with faith, passion, hard work, and the support of so many amazing people,” the restaurant shared in announcing its debut. “We can’t wait to welcome you all.”

The addition of Sitar fills a notable gap in Atlantic City’s dining landscape, bringing a full-service Indian restaurant to one of the region’s busiest tourism destinations. Guests visiting Hard Rock can now enjoy everything from traditional curries and tandoori specialties to vegetarian favorites and modern Indian-inspired creations without leaving the property.

As Atlantic City continues to diversify its culinary offerings, Sitar’s arrival highlights the growing demand for global cuisine and cultural dining experiences. The restaurant not only expands the range of dining options available to visitors but also introduces Indian cuisine to a broader audience in one of New Jersey’s premier entertainment venues.

Sitar will grand open to the public on Friday. They are inviting locals and visitors to experience what promises to be one of Atlantic City’s most exciting new dining destinations.
