Slapburger Cherry Hill new sign

Slap Burger Now Open in Cherry Hill

June Update: Slap Burger is now open! I stopped by to take these photos. This is a soft opening, so give them some grace while get everything up to speed. I had just eaten lunch elsewhere so no food photos today, but I will go back soon and share those ASAP. Yes, there is parking on the front and the side of the building for those who were wondering about parking. There is also some street parking on Virginia Avenue.

Give Slap Burger a HOT Cherry Hill welcome!

April Update 2: The new sign is now up so it shouldn’t be long at all. Continue to stay tuned!

April Update 1: Slap Burger is coming along rather quickly. Paper on the windows is down. The interior looks almost ready to go. Looks like there will be some indoor seating, at least it appears there is room for some. Tables and chairs are not yet in place. Neon signs are up inside. Exterior sign is not yet up. I’d say by the end of the month is imminent. Slap Burger has not responded to requests for comment. Continue to stay tuned here for opening date.

A popular North Jersey and New York burger spot is heading to South Jersey. Slap Burger is preparing to open a new location in Cherry Hill, taking over the former Asian Bamboo space on Route 70.

The restaurant will be located at 906 Marlton Pike, in the small strip center between Cooper Landing Road and Locustwood Cemetery, in front of Chick’s Deli.

Known for its craveable comfort food, Slap Burger has built a following with a menu centered around smash burgers, Nashville-style hot chicken sandwiches, loaded platters, indulgent milkshakes, and refreshing specialty lemonades.

Work hasn’t started at the Cherry Hill location yet. I stopped by to see paper in the windows, and the old sign is still up. So, I expect the opening date is likely still a few months away. I have reached out for comment, but I haven’t received a response yet.

I’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available.
