One of the historic outlets and a chocolate specialist, Damask Candies has become a firm fixture in Swedesboro. It has an old-school approach to chocolates and candies, evoking the kind of images you’d see in a Willy Wonka movie or the Sugar Supreme Powernudge game. It’s perfect for classic chocolate treats, custom orders, and holiday specialties. However, what people tend to talk about most of all is the old-fashioned customer service at Damask Candies: a trip back in time to Chocolate Heaven.

Shriver’s is famous for its extensive variety of salt water taffy flavors, including classic favorites like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, as well as unique offerings such as watermelon and root beer. Taffy isn’t everyone’s favorite, but Shriver’s could well make you change your mind. Of course, there are plenty of other options should root beer taffy not float your boat, and you can also find delicious macaroons, fudge, and other candies.

It should be noted that the store also plays an active role in the local community, often sponsoring and supporting local events.
