Sweetgreen will open its eighth New Jersey based restaurant on Tuesday, August 22nd in the Promenade at Sagemore at 500 Route 73 South Suite A28.
For every meal sold on opening day, Sweetgreen will donate a meal to the Food Bank of South Jersey to nourish people experiencing food insecurity. The Food Bank of South Jersey was founded in 1985 and has provided more than 150 million pounds of food, over 1 million fresh, nutritious meals, and tens of thousands of healthy grocery boxes to people in need.
To celebrate opening day, guests can enjoy giveaways including dessert from The Water Ice Factory while supplies last, candles from Candled Aromas for the first 75 customers, as well as the signature coffee blend and swag from Lakes Coffee Roasters for the first 100 customers. Sweetgreen has also commissioned New York based artist Nate Harris for a Woodcut print on Okawara Japanese paper, allowing layers of color and texture to slowly be revealed.
The 2,618 sq ft location will accommodate 26 diners inside with banquette seating and 8 diners outside on the restaurant’s patio. Store hours are 10:30am to 9:00pm daily.
