Take 5 Coffee is a new independently owned cafe opening at the Bank of America Plaza (3131 Route 38 in Mount Laurel next to Tres Yan & Wu) by Ira and Bernadette Guttman, who previously operated Moon Dog Grill at the Moorestown Mall and Cool Dog Cafe in Cherry Hill before that.
When the popular South Jersey hot dog destination Moon Dog Grill closed earlier in the year, the couple thought it was time to retire from food service, but you can keep good dogs down, eh?
This development comes as welcome news as the Guttmans have many fans, and their friendly presence has been missed in the South Jersey Food Scene.
A source close to Take 5 said it will open by the Fall. A menu is still being finalized, but there will be nibbles/noshes in addition to coffee drinks.
