A popular South Jersey food brand (and South Jersey Food Scene favorite!) known for its over-the-top hot dogs, burgers, chicken wings, fish platters, and more is expanding into Camden.
The Girl With A Grill has officially announced plans to open its second location at 200 North Broadway inside the Camden County College Conference Center, bringing its growing culinary brand directly into the heart of the city.
The announcement was made through a high-energy reveal video shared on social media, where the business described the expansion as more than just a new restaurant opening.
“We aren’t just opening a second location; we’re growing our community,” owner Lashaun Crawford exclaimed.
Unlike a pop-up or satellite operation, the Camden site is being positioned as a full-service restaurant open to the public, welcoming students, professionals, residents, and visitors alike. The location inside the conference center places the restaurant near downtown Camden’s growing educational and business corridor.
Known for its comfort-food-driven menu and signature housemade sauces, The Girl With A Grill has developed a loyal following for items like its “Dirty Burgers,” brisket cheesesteaks, loaded fries, rice bowls, cravable sides, and so much more. Customers at the new Camden location can also expect fish and shrimp platters served with the restaurant’s well-known “DIS and DAT” sauce.
The expansion marks another milestone for the locally owned business, which has steadily built a reputation through social media buzz, community engagement, and loyal customers.
As Camden continues to see new investment and development across its downtown area, the addition of another independently owned food concept adds to the city’s growing dining scene.
An official opening date has not yet been announced, but they are pushing for sometime in July. Anticipation is already building online following the reveal, which featured many other local business owners hyping up the new location.
