The Soup Bar Moorestown

The Soup Bar Opens 2nd Location in Moorestown

Chef Eddie McGaurn is well known in South Jersey for his excellent homemade soups and crabcakes, among other delicious meals.

He’s been vending at farmer’s markets and offering his soups at farm stands for years after being a chef at various restaurants in South Jersey.

In 2019, he opened The Soup Bar on Broad Street in Palmyra to much fanfare. It had previously been The Farmacy (and a few other places before that).

Chef Eddie’s new soup spot, located at 350 Young Avenue inside the Virtua Samson Cancer Center in Moorestown, took over for The Soup Place, which was short-lived. Rich’s Cafe was also there for a short time before that.

The new cafe will feature rotating soups, crab cake sandwiches, grilled cheese, wrap sandwiches, and more.

Hours are limited and open for lunch for the time being. From 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM approx. They are planning to open for breakfast in the future.
