A familiar name in the South Jersey is entering a new chapter. Victory Sports Bar & Grill, long a staple in West Berlin, has officially been sold, marking the end of one era and the beginning of another for the well-known neighborhood gathering spot.
Andy Likogiannis, who operated Victory Bar & Grill, finalized the sale in early 2026 after years of building a loyal following through his hands-on ownership style and approachable, community-driven atmosphere. Under his leadership, Victory became a popular spot known for its casual vibe, attentive service, and strong ties to local patrons.
Amar and Sunitha Gunda of Moorestown are the new owners. The Gundas, no strangers to hospitality in South Jersey, own Haldi Indian Restaurant and the Wine Cave Liquor Store in Mount Laurel. They bring extensive hospitality experience and a vision to revitalize Victory Sports Bar while staying true to its local roots. The purchase was managed by Nikki Shah Real Estate Group of NJ & PA.
The new owners say customer feedback is guiding the transition, with small improvements already underway. They emphasize that while the core of Victory Sports Bar will remain the same, enhancements are coming in direct response to patrons’ input. The bottom line is that the establishment’s main goals haven’t changed: good food, great service, and being a destination on game day. And yes, kids still eat free on Tuesdays!
A newly appointed general manager, Justin Williams, who brings 13 years of managerial experience at Yard House in Moorestown and, most recently, at The Chicken or The Egg in Marlton, has been brought in to guide day-to-day operations and implement a more structured, service-focused approach. In the kitchen, a chef with a formal culinary degree is expected to lead efforts to upgrade the menu, emphasizing quality and consistency.
Patrons can also expect noticeable upgrades to the viewing experience. Plans are underway to replace and enhance the bar’s televisions, a key feature for any sports-focused venue, ensuring a more modern and immersive atmosphere for game days.
Importantly, the new owners have committed to retaining Victory’s existing staff, keeping jobs local, and maintaining continuity for regular customers who have grown familiar with the team over the years.
Entertainment is also making a comeback. Live music and DJs—once a popular draw—are set to return, signaling an effort to reestablish Victory as both a sports destination and a nightlife hub.
While ownership has changed, the goal appears to be evolution rather than reinvention. By combining operational upgrades with a respect for the bar’s established identity, the Gunda family is betting that Victory Sports Bar can continue to serve as a cornerstone of the West Berlin community—just with a refreshed experience for a new generation of guests.
Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
