Vino 61 is a new wine and tapas bar established in the heart of downtown Mount Holly, in the former Iron Plow Vineyards tasting room, located at 61 High Street. Co-owners are Mary Carty and Dawn Brenner.
Vino 61 will feature over 40 wines by glass from the most popular wine destinations around the world with flights and food pairings at the bar or inside the cozy dining room.
The rotating wine list is complimented by a seasonal tapas menu inspired by neighboring farms. Chef Mico Maldonado is a Mount Holly native who is working with the local farms in the area to create inspired small plates.
Small plates include shrimp ceviche, pumpkin soup, roasted pear and arugula salad, mushroom risotto stuffed bell pepper, seasonal hummus, and ricotta flatbread.
“Not so small” plates include a meatball dish, 10-hour Short Rib, brown butter and sage ravioli, and Chilean sea bass entree.
There will also be wine and cheese pairings as well as charcuterie boards.
Reservations are live on Open Table.
