A new restaurant is bringing a blend of Mediterranean flavors, Turkish hospitality, and café culture to Vineland. Wandering Rose Cafe & Grill has officially opened in the space formerly occupied by Queen Restaurant II on East Landis Avenue. A Grand Opening is scheduled this Friday with a ribbon cutting at 4pm and specials and giveaways will continue all weekend.
Owned and operated by a local husband-and-wife team, Wandering Rose Cafe & Grill was created with a vision of offering more than just a meal. The owners say the concept was inspired by their love of travel, culture, and the experience of gathering around a table with family and friends.
The restaurant combines Mediterranean and American cuisine with Turkish influences, offering a menu that feels both adventurous and approachable. Guests can expect traditional Mediterranean dishes alongside café favorites, breakfast boards, specialty coffees, handcrafted drinks, fresh-baked items, and family-style platters meant for sharing.
According to the owners, Turkish culture’s emphasis on hospitality played a major role in shaping the restaurant’s identity.
“We wanted to create a space that feels welcoming, cozy, and different from the typical dining experience in the area,” the couple shared. “Somewhere guests can slow down, explore new flavors, and still find familiar favorites.”
Inside, the restaurant features a warm, modern atmosphere with Mediterranean-inspired décor, greenery, and cozy seating arrangements. The owners said they intentionally designed the space to work equally well for coffee dates, casual lunches, and family dinners.
Wandering Rose seats approximately 100 guests and offers a range of pricing, from casual café and breakfast items to larger specialty dishes designed for groups and sharing.
The owners hope the restaurant will stand out by offering a mix of cultures and dining experiences rather than focusing on a single style of cuisine.
“We wanted to build a place where people can discover Mediterranean flavors in a way that feels approachable, creative, and community-driven,” they said.
Hours are Sunday-Monday 9am – 8pm, closed Tuesday, Wednesday-Thursday 9am-9pm and Friday & Saturday 9am-10pm.
